Welcome to our Policies & Notices page. This is where you will find the valuable information on the operation of our practice, the guidelines, procedures, and your right as a patient. These policies are meant to provide a safe, respectful, and confidential space in which you would feel supported in your mental health journey.
We would urge you to consider these notices. Being aware of our practice will enable us to give the best care to you without jeopardizing your privacy and well-being. In case of any concerns or clarifications, our team is at all times available to assist.
Privacy Policy / HIPAA Notice
Your privacy is our top priority. We follow all federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, to protect your personal health information. This includes how we collect, use, and store your information, as well as your rights to access or request changes to your records. All communications, sessions, and records are confidential, and we will only share information with your consent or as required by law.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we strive to accommodate your schedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time to another patient and helps us manage our schedule effectively.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you have any questions or need assistance, our team is happy to help.
Emergency and Crisis Disclaimer
Our practice is not available for urgent or emergency situations. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or any life-threatening situation, please seek immediate help:

Our services are intended for scheduled therapy sessions and ongoing mental health support. We encourage you to have a safety plan and crisis resources readily available.
Practice Policies
Late Arrivals: To respect your time and that of other patients, sessions will end at the scheduled time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session, and fees may still apply.
Communication: We are happy to answer questions between sessions via phone, email, or secure messaging. Non-urgent messages will be responded to within 1–2 business days. Rest assured, that our communication and email platform are both HIPAA compliant to protect your sensitive information.
Other Policies: For continuity of care, we may implement additional practice guidelines as needed. Patients are encouraged to review all policies and ask questions to ensure clarity and comfort.
